Switching between Desktops

There are many ways to Switch between Virtual Desktops:

Using the toolbar or tray icons
Using the Pager Control
Using the context menu
Using hotkeys
Using the Arrange Dialog

Using the toolbar or tray icons

NOTE: The toolbar and tray icon controls can be enabled and disabled as described in the Toolbar/Tray Controls tab of the Options Dialog.

Simply click on the button representing the Virtual Desktop you want to switch to.

When in compact mode, click the arrows on the toolbar or tray icons to switch up and down between Virtual Desktops.

Using the Pager Control

The Pager Control is a TaskBar Toolbar, for more details see Pager.

To switch to a desktop using the Pager Control, simply click on the Desktops thumbnail.

Using the context menu

Clicking the DesktopPlus tray icon with the right mouse button, causes the context menu to appear, from which the Switch to menu can be used to switch to another Virtual Desktop.

Using Hotkeys

Each Virtual Desktops has the option to specify Hotkeys for switching to it. By default, CTRL-1 (hold down CTRL and, whilst holding down CTRL, press 1) is used for Desktop 1, CTRL-2 for Desktop 2, CTRL-3 for Desktop 3 and so on.

Using the Arrange Dialog

It is also possible to switch between Virtual Desktops from the Arrange Dialog.
